- Great book, it is a bit of heavy read. Moreland is a philosophy professor at Talbot School of Theology. The first few chapters are heavy on philosophy and world view, but the last half is a great practical application and easier to understand. Moreland emphasizes the importance and balance of using your mind, cultivating your soul, and the using the Spirit’s power in your Christian life and relationship with God.
